Our Story
Khivi Care is owned and operated by two passionate and experienced women who have had the privilege of managing care for their aging parents and grandparents. With background in medical field and technology, our aim is to create a safe and well-balanced environment to live in. We offer modern living with customized services to encourage as much independence as one requires.

Our administrators, physician, licensed nurses and caregivers work collaboratively to provide the best care possible. We customize care plans depending on your requirements which are revised regularly based on your changing needs, interests, and level of care ensuring you continue to live your best physically, mentally, socially and emotionally.
Our Advisors
Dr. Harkesh Sandhu
Dr. Sandhu recently retired from the VA Hospital and provides medical services to many Skilled Nursing facilities and Hospice Care as a Medical Director. He also proctors Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant students from various school including UC Davis and UCSF.
The American Health Council named Dr. Sandhu, as one of “America’s Best Doctors” for his unparalleled professional dedication and extraordinary contributions to the field of medicine.

Dr. Sandhu is also a founder of non-profit organization which provides health and educational services to the most underserved population.
Kirti Varma, FNP
Kirti Varma is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She started her career practicing as a pediatric ER nurse both in NY and CA. Currently, she is working at Stanford Healthcare catering to the Medicare population ages 65 and above.
Through her experiences as a healthcare provider, she has come across and learned repeatedly the importance of understanding and being truly mindful of mental health when approaching patients regardless of their illness or age.
As a healthcare provider, Kirti is passionate about using her medical expertise to give back to the community as well as learn about the social and healthcare disparities affecting the quality of living of her patients. Kirti believes caring for patients as a whole allows for patient centered care. “To love is to be loved forever.” She firmly believes that is what makes the humankind so great.
Gurpreet Dhillon, FNP
Gurpreet is a registered nurse provider with a graduate degree in nursing prepared for advanced practice involving independent and interdependent decision making and direct accountability for clinical judgment across the health care continuum.

Gurpreet is currently working at Kaiser Hospital as an ER Nurse. He takes pride in caring for patients during their most vulnerable times. He enjoy the complexity of different disease processes and helping uncover that with patients.
Gurpreet treat patients with compassion and empower them to make better decisions about their health through team approaches.
